In the past, I was often drawn to people who showed no interest in me. It’s a habit I’ve broken, but the other day I was having lunch with a friend. I realized they hadn’t asked me a question about myself in 20 minutes.

Oh, no, I thought. I’ve done it again.

This week I learned how to turn off the audio notifications on Slack. I’m in a work collaborative with some friends and the little “click click click” sound got too much. Like, I’d be chilling. Concentrating on a piece of work. Then CLICK CLICK CLICK.

We all have the power to nourish ourselves and set healthy boundaries. Nobody has the right to intrude on our time unless we invite them. This week’s free yoga class focuses on finding a sense of calm and assertiveness within. And on drawing healthy boundaries without.

P.S. it’s this week’s vegetarian recipe! I love Alison Roman’s charred and raw corn salad for those first ears of corn coming back from the fields.

Love free yoga stuff?
